Maths Week in Year 6

22nd Oct 2024

Year 6 really enjoyed Maths Week 2024! In class, we tackled problem-solving challenges and explored how maths shapes our daily lives. We also loved completing outdoor addition involving estimation using the car registration plates of the many passing cars at the bottom of our school drive way.

At home, pupils teamed up with family members to solve puzzles, bake, draw, count, measure, calculate, run, walk, and play maths games and much more. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week a success. It was a great opportunity to develop our maths skills both in school and with the support of our families.
