Naming our new 3G Facility at St. Ninnidh's Primary School - As part of our school community consultation, we invited pupils, parents, staff, PFG and Board of Governors to suggest names for our new 3G facility. All suggestions were carefully collated, and our Year 7 pupils shortlisted the final names shown below. We are now inviting parents, staff and the Board of Governors to take part in the final stage of this process by voting for the name you feel best represents our school and community. Please select one name only from the shortlist. The new 3G facility will officially open on Thursday 5th February at 6.00pm, and we look forward to celebrating together. Thank you all for your support and patience over the course of the autumn and winter months. While it would have been great to get started straight away, significant planning & work had to take place to realise our dream for our pupils.
We are delighted to announce that we have now started works on our school grounds. The plan is for it to be completed in phases over the coming months as follows:
Phase I: Tar play area and upgrade safety/security on entry to the school. Timeline for completion: June 2024
Phase II: Create an outdoor biodiversity education play area to the front of the school. Timeline for completion: August 2024.
Phase III: Construction of a 55m x 35m 3G play area to the rear of school. Timeline for completion: TBC however we are close to planning and tendering stages for this project.
Phase IV: Extension of lower tar area and access to 3G play area to the rear of school. Timeline for completion: TBC
