Y1 and Y7 buddies!

17th Oct 2024
Y1 and Y7 have had a wonderful morning sequencing the story of Jack and Hill. Year 7 pupils have been focusing on the comprehension strategy “to sequence” for the past fortnight. To conclude their learning, they taught the Y1 pupils the nursery rhyme of Jack & Jill, sequenced it using pictures and finally cut and pasted the rhyme into the correct order. The Y7 pupils taught the Y1s how to use language like first, next, then and finally.
